Everybody has a story—stories that connect, intersect, and intertwine as part of God’s great story. This website is the footnote of one chapter of my story in words, images, and video—specifically the evidence of God connecting all of my dots so that I could minister under the anointing with authenticity, authority, and a whole lot of joy! This website is also an invitation for you to connect your story with mine.
My name is Donna Owusu-Ansah. I am a Black woman who loves and celebrates Black women, an ordained Baptist minister who went to a Methodist Seminary and knows that there are no denominations in Glory, a lover of words and books whose Amazon cart is always full, and a visual artist trained in the Mecca (HU! You know!) working at the intersection of prophetic imagination, faith, theology, pastoral care, art, and technology. I am deeply and equally inspired by Mary the Mother of Jesus, Lorna Simpson, Toni Morrison, Mahalia Jackson, Lil’ Kim (circa 1996), and Rev. Dr. Prathia Hall and can quote any or all of them at a moments notice. I am also a wife and mother, daughter and sister, friend, and confidant.
As you can see below, I am a preacher, teacher, creator, and author. I am the founder and creative director of Inspiring Creativity Ministries and the Author of Loves…Regardless: Forty Devotions Inspired by Womanist Creative Thought and Theology, both of which were birthed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Preacher
Rev. Donna is a dynamic and inspired preacher who loves Jesus and God’s people. Whether preaching online or in person, hearers will be equipped with a deeper understanding of Scripture and how to apply God’s word to their lives. Her mother says she is an awesome preacher, but her opinion may be slightly biased.
Teacher/Facilitator
A lifelong learner, Rev. Donna’s sweet spot can be found in the classroom environment as a teacher and facilitator. She has a gift for creating curriculum, synthesizing information, particularly Scripture, and presenting in such a way that engages participants, crystallizes learning, and invites transformation.

Rev. Donna is a trained artist, embracing the fullness of creativity and imagination in ministry within and beyond the walls of the church. With an eye for design, color, space, and beauty, she is a Spirit-led Creative Brand Strategist poised to help individuals and groups in ministry thrive for such a time as this.

A writer ever since she learned to hold a pencil, Rev. Donna’s first published book, Loves…Regardless: Forty Devotions Inspired by Womanist Creative Thought and Theology will inspire women to be the strong, spiritual person they were created to be. Her writing is insightful, poetic, and accessible.
Creativity is a gift from God. Creativity is a gift to God. Creativity is prophetic ministry. When we claim our creativity and engage our holy imagination, we participate with God in newness of life--ushering in a beautiful and just society for all of God's people.
